This Double-beveled Plaque has a 1:1 ratio no matter the size you select and it is perfect for staining or painting on your own because the unfinished surface is ready for any finish that you would like to apply yourself.
The Plaque itself is made out of solid Red Oak and finish sanded to 220 grit, giving a superior smooth finish. The edging placed on BOTH Sides is a 1/4 inch round over that is inset 1/8" so the available space to mount anything will be 1/2 inch less in both length and width to accommodate for the decorative edge.
The Double beveled edge gives an inset 1/2 inch round over along the edge of the plaque. If placed flat on a wall or table this gives a raised/floating appearance that you can see in the images. This makes this design a great option for a display base for showing off a statue or an award.
