• Material - 2 pieces of 0.75 inches (1.9cm) walnut carved perfectly match together.
• Closing - The ring opening is a friction fit that is very satisfying to close because you can feel the quality (unlike boxes that use magnets to help the box close)
• Hinges - barrel hinges are robust and allow you to hold the box top open in any position. (cheaper hinges just flop open and closed)
• Finish - A Dark Water based Dye stain is used to give the box a deep dark brown color.
• Clear Coats - Choose from either a Satin, Semi-gloss, or gloss finish. All water-based.
